Dogs are not my best friend...

It's been a while since I've written on this thing! I'm officially sleep deprived/dehydrated/malnourished. So that's pretty cool. Actually it's more of me just being an idiot about keeping myself healthy. I had a short candy kick a couple of weeks ago. I would go to the gas station every night and buy/eat shitloads of candy. In an attempt to not become a fat ass, I stopped that. I'm a glutton!!!

So I had fun playing the Ludo Christmas show. I was pretty freaking sick, which made things a little harder. I sang through it, though. I still am not at 100% because those stupid steroids made me feel like total crap and I've been constantly exposed to dogs and cats. For those of you who don't know me, I am EXTREMELY allergic to dogs and cats. Especially dogs. Everytime I am around a dog, or even in a room where a dog has been in the last 6 months, my lungs start closing up BAD. I don't think people understand how bad it actually is. In fact, the easiest way to piss me off is by telling me that it's all in my head or that I'm making up excuses. I want to grab those people by the throat and strangle them.

Things I would rather do than be in a room where a dog is/has been:
- Get kicked in the balls really hard
- Get punched in the face really hard
- Eat shit

Not to mention what dogs do to my singing. Singing is all about breathing, and if you can't breathe, then you can't sing! So needless to say I do my best to avoid dogs, but it doesn't always work out for me.

And don't even get me started on horses, and assholes...

You can't teach an old dog new tricks...

Check this out:

This is an interesting video. The old Catholic man will never be able to see the reality as to why this ad was put together. The man claims "you have no right to mock my religion in a blasphemous way." I was at one time a religious person, so I understand the conviction that this man has with his defending it. However, he is not taking into account the fact that his religion preaches to the world that homosexuality is evil. Think about this. If someone hates you or preaches to the world that you are evil, you are going to react to that. Usually it is a negative reaction too. It's the same concept of black people hating the KKK. Gay people have every right to not respect the Catholic religion just as black people have every right to hate the KKK. In 50 years, we are going to look back at the homosexual discrimination and think of it in the same light as we do racism. If you call yourself a God fearing Christian that's great, but please don't be afraid to question what you have been told. Just because the Bible says that something is wrong or right doesn't mean that it is. The Bible was written by man, and has been translated time and time again for thousands of years. We all need to look into our own hearts and think for ourselves. Take every side into account and put yourself in both shoes of every confrontation. No one is perfect, but our imperfections are what make us who we are. We are all human, whether you are gay, straight, black, white, Christian, Muslim, Atheist, Agnostic, American, or from any other country. My point is, to love one another and let go of prejudice that separates us all. If you hate gay people, then you are no better than a KKK member. And KKK members are real pieces of shit!

On another note, it is a widely known fact that Fox news is a Christian conservative organization. The title of the story was “Catholic Bashing? Poster called ‘hate speech.’” This automatically implies that the church is the good guy because they are being attacked. If the story would have been presented as “Gays responding to Catholic Church’s position on Homosexuality” it would have changed the way you view the situation, and possibly your opinion of it. The fact that they tried to imply that gays were practicing “hate speech” is pretty ironic. It’s really the other way around. Also, listen to the level of the microphones when the two are arguing. When the Christian man raises his voice, he completely overrides the gay man to the point you can barely hear him. They do this on purpose. It’s the same thing that Bill O’reily does with his guests. You are more likely to listen and agree with the louder person than the person who is softer. This is basic psychology. Also, the fact that the Christian man is in the Fox news studio gives off a sense that he is the “right” one.

I’m curious as to what your opinions are of this.

P.S - Here's another video about the same thing

Fox news is dodging the real issue. It's ok for Catholics to preach against gays, but not the other way around. Also, once you get past the slanted story, they interview a priest. This guy is obviously gay himself and in complete denial. Out of fear he hates his own kind. Sad.

Get over yourself

During my random youtube wanderings, I found this video. Are they serious? Apparently it’s illegal to fly another flag above the American flag? Isn’t that a violation of the first amendment? This man is being called a hero, and it’s absolutely ridiculous! He’s a criminal. He had no right to do what he did to that store. Who gives a shit if they were flying their flag higher than the American flag? Are we that arrogant that we can’t take other people being proud of where they came from? Get over yourselves people. Think if the situation would have been reversed. If a burger joint in Mexico was flying an American flag higher than the Mexican flag, and some crazy Mexican vigilante with a patriotic stick up his ass went and cut it down like this. The same people who are calling this guy a hero would be banning anything Mexican like they are the French. Patriotism is a joke. We are all in this world together and this idea of “teams” if you will, is detrimental to the human race. What a redneck.

Get up stand up

I saw this video on youtube last night and it really pissed me off. This I absolutely unacceptable! This kid was tasered for asking a question. They say that he was resisting arrest, but why the hell were they arresting him in the first place! Just because his question wasn’t your average pussy beat around the bush question. In my opinion, they had no right to put their hands on him in the first place. I can’t believe that people in the audience just stood there! This kid had his rights taken away from him and everyone just stood there like a bunch of pussy's. It’s unbelievable how quickly people accept the fact that they aren’t actually free to ask questions. These cops should all be fired.

CNN story

This next video hits a little closer to home. This very cop has harassed me and my girlfriend on numerous occasions. This is NOT an isolated incident. The entire precinct is a scam to make money. They should be shut down, and let real cops take over policing St. George.

Hold on to your dreams...

Hey everybody I don’t have much time to write, but here is something that I think is pretty cool. Back in the day when I was in early high school I was obsessed with music. The Ataris were one of my favorite bands. In fact my “lucky” red shirt was an Ataris shirt that I still have. I bragged to all of my friends one year that I accidentally got back stage at warped tour (I was like 15 or so) and got the bassist of the Ataris to sign my shirt. That was my claim to fame… Now I know it was a lame claim to fame. Anyway I think I’m going to bring that shirt and have the guys sign it when I play the show with them tomorrow. Just for old times sake… If I would have gone back to my 15 year old self and said “your band is going to open for the Ataris” I would have probably shit my pants. So my point with this message is to say how grateful I am for all of the opportunities that are coming my way. If you are still around that age, and things seem impossible to do, think again. Anything is possible, and if you put your heart into it, things will happen. I’ll see you guys tomorrow

FISH!!!

So if you read at some of my earlier blogs you will see that I bought some fish a while back. They all died really quickly. I was bummed about it and too damn lazy to clean out the tank. Yea that’s me alright. So I let it get pretty gross in there, and soon enough it became pretty close to a science project. Next thing I know, there is three little baby black fish swimming around and like I said, it was a virgin miracle birth. I figured they probably wouldn’t last long, plus I didn’t even know how to maintain the tank so I just left them alone. I’m an asshole!! So as the days went by, these poor little dudes were still swimming around while their mom was long dead. At that point I decided that I needed to throw out that entire mess of a tank and start over. So I put the fish in a white bowl with some tap water. I wasn’t really expecting them to last long and I didn’t want to fork over the money to buy a real tank. But, as days turned into weeks these little guys were still going strong!! They were getting bigger too. That’s when I decided it was time to reward these fish for putting up with my lazy ass for so long. I went and got them a new tank at Wal Mart, one that they will be comfortable in, and bought them a nice filter and a boat to sleep in. They totally sleep in it too! So to make a long story a little shorter, they are living large. I love these fish very much now. I’ve been feeding them and taking care of them like a real caretaker should. They were living in total shit, but held on only to be rewarded with the most kick ass setup they could ask for. The three of them stick together a lot too, which is pretty cool. I’m wondering. Will they breed if they are brother and sister?

This made my day...

AHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHA I saw this on the news this morning and it made my entire day. Here was one gentleman’s response to the video:

"Jesus. I never thought it possible to see something so fucking moronic. Firstly she expresses herself like a retarded 6 year old, and then I find out that 1 out of 5 Americans can't find their country on a map. What sort of fucking brain-dead morons are you guys breeding over there? Seriously."

AHAHAH, you're right! We are a bunch of morons.. Me included!
